Make Time To Make - Crafternoon
Event description
The team at Basic Rights Queensland invites YOU to Make Time to Make following Mental Health Week this year.
When our world is chaotic, making time to connect with others and creating can be both cathartic and defiant.
Communal crafting and making is a timeless practice – it has unified and connected communities for thousands of years.
Community Sector workers often prioritize the people they assist - this event is about making time to make, focusing on creativity, chats and connection (and snacks).
Low-key, simple and practical opt-in activities include:
basic water colour
fidget making
badge making
relaxation practices
yarn and embroider activities
Afternoon tea and making supplies are provided.
