Make with Rhia - Wax Ring Workshop

Release your inner jeweller as you carve your own ring in this three hour jewellery workshop. 

For our first workshop enjoy a special discount from $139 per ticket reduced to $119 per ticket.

Discover the ancient jewellery making process of lost wax casting. Learn about the different carving techniques and then go on to make your ring design out of wax. 

In this beginners class you will be learning to make a 'wave' ring design. 

When you have finished carving this design, I will have spare wax for you to make your own design and you can choose which one you wish to cast at the end (there will also be options to cast both and to upgrade from silver to other precious metals).

After the class, your ring will be cast into an identical precious metal replica, this then gets a polished finish and is sent directly to your nominated address. Your ring will be mailed to you approximately three weeks after the class is completed.

3. Carving demonstration
4. Guided design time 
5. Guided carving time
6. Free design and carving time (for duration of the workshop)

Over 18's only - As we will be working with an open flame.

Note: 

Please be aware that having long nails will make the carving process more difficult and as we are using files to carve, they may get damaged in the making process.

If you wish to make a ring for someone else as a gift, please try to find out their ring size before the event, or bring another ring along of theirs for us to size on the day.
