Event description

The Bee Queens, in partnership with the South Arm Men's Shed are excited to present a series of upcoming making workshops.

The first will be held on Sunday September 28th from 10.00am- 2.00pm, where participants will make their own wire jig to take home.

This jig makes wiring up wooden frames quicker and easier for all beekeepers from backyarders and recreational beekeepers to those operating at scale.

These jigs will be made from 17mm form ply with 35mm dowel spools - guaranteed to last you for a lifetime of beekeeping.

Places are open to ALL beekeepers (male and female), but there are limited spaces available.

A sausage sizzle lunch, morning tea, instruction from Men's Shed volunteers and your jig to take home are all provided in the workshop cost.
