Description

Plastic Free July: Make Your Own Beeswax & Sandwich Wraps
A fun, family-friendly workshop!

Cling wrap is clogging up landfill. In fact, school waste audits in WA regularly uncover over 100 pieces of plastic film in a single day!

Join us for this hands-on workshop where you'll learn to make your own reusable beeswax food wraps and sandwich wraps – a simple, cost-effective way to cut down on plastic at home and in lunchboxes.

Why beeswax wraps?

  • Naturally antibacterial and waterproof

  • Easy to make and reuse

  • A fantastic alternative to plastic film

  • Fun to share with family and friends!

This event is perfect for kids, adults, and families who want to get creative and help reduce plastic waste together.

This Plastic Free July workshop is hosted by The City of Bayswater and Enviro House and facilitated by Waste Is My Resource.
