If you're interested in pottery, but you want to try something a little bit different, then come along and join our resident potter, Maria.

You'll not only learn all about hand-forming with clay, supporting you to make your own pieces of pottery art from air-dry clay, but you'll also learn how to colour your clay to make your pieces extra personalised and even a but psychedelic!

At the end of the workshop you will walk away with new skills and a hand made object to gift to a friend or adorn your home!

What will we cover?

In this fun, hands-on workshop you will learn how to:

Condition your clay
Colour your clay
Work with air-dry clay to make objects
Design and shape clay
Stamp, emboss, engrave into clay
Attaching pieces of clay correctly for strength

Who will be Teaching?

Maria (she/her) is a serial crafter. She loves learning about new crafts and techniques! She does crochet, macrame, sewing, pottery, weaving and likes to explore how these crafts can be combined and expanded.

In addition to plants and crafting, she also has a passion for cooking and baking, light painting and running Laneway Learning. You can follow her plantstagram @malayebra.
