Join our resident foodie, Gloria, to learn the secrets of making simple traditional Korean kimchi. At the Farm, Gloria has been eyeing off our crop of wombok (Chinese cabbages) for a few weeks and is keen to show you how to turn them into kimchi. Gloria will step us through the process from start to finish and she will provide you with your own sample jar to take home and ferment. Gloria will also show us how to make kimchi fried rice as a bonus!

This workshop includes a light morning tea plus taste tests. Please remember to bring your own small clean jar. 

When: Saturday 13 April, 9.30am to 11.30pm (you're welcome to come along early to have a wander through the Farm)

Were: North Fremantle Social Farm, Thompson Rd, North Fremantle (next to the Community Hall)

Cost: free for members, $25 non-members, $30 Grow the Farm. New social members always welcome, become a member here!

Bring: Small clean jar and pencil and paper for notes if you wish
