Make Your Own Music Scene - Talk - Free

Promoters and organisers from across Scotland’s music scene share their experiences and advice building and contributing to their respective music scenes.

Though the styles of music varies greatly between them, the DIY ethos and passion for sharing music is present in all.

The discussion will be led by Nara (Throughline) and Danny (Table Salt), two Edinburgh promoters who have been putting on local shows that run the musical gambit as well as having experience in Community Radio.

This discussion will provide an informal introduction to how to build music communities that are sustainable and inclusive.

‘Make it Yourself’ is a 5 day celebration of do-it-yourself culture and local community, running during the October half term (October 14th - 18th).

Pianodrome Bruntsfield is at The St.Oswald's Center at 41 Montpelier Park, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh EH10 4NB, just parallel to the main street and next to the primary school. It has an accessible entrance and an accessible toilet. Please get in touch if there is anything else you'd like to ask or tell us prior to your visit.

Accessibility

You do not need a ticket for babies, but if your child is likely to take space in a seat then please book them a ticket.
