Maker & Monger x APTNO.6 Cheese and Wine 101

This October, Apartment 6 and Maker & Monger are coming together for one very good Friday night dedicated to two things the Italians have spent a very long time getting very, very right: cheese and wine.

Your extremely qualified and only slightly opinionated hosting team for the evening: Maker & Monger head cheesemonger Anthony Femia, wine buyer Ryan Kearney, and Apartment 6 Wine Club's Founder Megan joining forces to take you on a little trip through Italy, one pairing at a time.

We’ll taste four Italian cheeses alongside four Italian wines, moving from north to south and getting into what makes each pairing work. Expect a bit of masterclass, a bit of storytelling, plenty of Q&A, and the sort of useful information that means next time you’re buying wine and cheese together, you might actually know what you’re doing.

We’ll talk about how the cheeses and wines are made, the people and places behind them, and a few genuinely useful tips for pairing the two together at home without overthinking it.
