Maker + Maker with Crafts by Susu

The City of PAE is excited to present its monthly workshop series titled Maker + Maker.

Maker + Maker offers a professional exchange of creative knowledge between an expert with individuals seeking new creative experiences. Focusing on the art of making, The City of PAE invites South Australia’s best makers to guide you in creating your own piece of art.

Join us for a vibrant workshop with Crafts by Susu, an Art Designer & Creator specializing in immersive floral sculptures. Using crepe paper, fabric, and other materials, Susu’s stunning, larger than life-sized flowers bring the beauty of nature to life with an enchanting mix of realism and whimsy. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with intricate textures, vivid colors, and bold structures that appear to bloom straight from the ground, inviting you into a magical floral world.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own oversized daisy flower, learning step-by-step techniques for shaping petals, constructing sturdy stems, and assembling your vibrant bloom. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed giant daisy—a unique, handmade masterpiece to display or gift. No prior experience is needed; just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

• Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm with break for lunch at 1pm

• What to bring: All materials are provided. Optional: bring personal materials or colors to incorporate.
