Maker Night: Recycled Fabric Portraits with Mahdiyyah Muhammad
Craft Contemporary
Los Angeles CA, United States
Description
Transform discarded textiles into vibrant, textured portraits that celebrate your connections to a person or place that matters to you. Using fabric collage, you’ll explore memory, identity, and storytelling while learning creative ways to upcycle materials and reduce waste. Inspired by tierra’s focus on restoration and care, participants consider how their relationships to loved ones and the natural world can shape both art and environmental stewardship.
This program will be held outdoors.
