Maker + Maker with Kerri Wright

The City of PAE is excited to present its monthly workshop series titled Maker + Maker.

Maker + Maker offers a professional exchange of creative knowledge between an expert with individuals seeking new creative experiences. Focusing in on the art of making, The City of PAE is inviting some of South Australia’s best makers to guide you on making your own piece of art.

For our October workshop we welcome Kerri, an expert in upcycling and DIY practices. Kerri will teach participants the basics of relief printing using linoleum and traditional carving tools. This hands-on session will guide you through designing and carving your own block(s) to print on fabric or thrifted clothing. Bring along your own pieces to personalize with unique patterns and designs. All necessary tools and materials will be provided, allowing you to explore and create in a relaxed, creative environment.

This workshop will run from 10.00am – 4.00pm with a half an hour lunch break at 1.00pm

Suitable for ages 15+, please bring your own lunch and water bottle.

This workshop is $30 and you will leave with your very own patterned/designed piece of clothing (BYO piece of clothing to print on).
