Event description

Step into the world of 3D printing in this beginner-friendly Makerspace class. Whether you’re curious about the technology or itching to bring an idea to life, we’ll walk you through the whole process — from concept to finished print.

You’ll learn:

  • Who uses 3D printers?

  • How filament 3D printers work

  • How to prep a model for printing using slicing software

  • Where to find free models to print (and how to make your own)

  • Common mistakes and how to avoid them

We’ll print a small object together and give you the skills to come back and start creating on your own.

💡 Looking to design custom tools, cosplay parts, art pieces, or even products to sell? This class gets you started.

🖨️ No tech background required. Just bring your curiosity.

The class will meet on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The cost of the course is $49 per person.
