Make It with the Laser: Intro to the Epilog

Ever wanted to try laser cutting? This hands-on class introduces the Epilog laser by walking you through a number of cool beginner projects.

You'll learn:

  • How laser cutters work and what materials you can use

  • How to prepare files for cutting and engraving

  • Basic vector design and project setup

  • How to create and assemble a multi-layered projects like a topographic map

You'll leave with a working knowledge of our laser system, a beautiful project you made yourself, and ideas for your next big project.

💡 Thinking about turning your hobby into a side hustle? We’ll also touch on how makers are using projects like these to sell on Etsy, at markets, and beyond.

📍 No design experience needed — just curiosity and creativity.

The class will meet on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The cost of the course is $49 per person.
