Makers Shift ~ Art & Design Exhibition Market - On Gadigal Land
29+30 August ~ Chippendale, Sydney
Makers Shift is a new Art & Design Exhibition Market celebrating independent artists, designers, and makers from our local creative community.
More than just a market, Makers Shift is about movement. It's about artworks and objects finding new homes, makers connecting with new audiences, ideas being shared, a shift in perspective, and creative practices continuing to evolve.
At its core, the event exists to create a thoughtful platform for emerging and independent creatives while fostering a community built around a shared love of making.
For its first edition, Makers Shift brings together a curated selection of 14 local artists and designers, showcasing a diverse range of disciplines, mediums, and practices. With an intentionally intimate scale, the event invites visitors to slow down, meet the makers, discover original work, and experience the stories behind each practice.
Each day has been thoughtfully curated to offer a different experience.
