Making a Notebook from Scrap Paper
Event description
Do you ever wonder if there is a better way to use your paper off cuts? Why not make your own notebooks.
Learn the basic skill of book binding and create a small A6 notebook from scrap paper that you can use as a journal, take notes in or pass on as a gift.
Join Alejandra Laclette, an experienced sustainability educator and bookbinder, who will discuss sourcing reuse materials and step you through the techniques of cutting pages to size, how to sew the paper together and creating a cover.
This free workshop is presented by the Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council. As numbers are limited, this offering is only available to residents of the Inner West Council area. Search by address at the Office of Local Government website to find your local government area, if you're unsure. Proof of residency is required before attending.
