Description
Sourdough Bread Making Workshop
Date:
Sunday the 8th of November
Time:
1.30pm - 4.30pm
North Fremantle Community Centre
2 Thompson Road, North Fremantle WA, Australia
Join us for a hands‑on sourdough workshop designed for beginners and seasoned bakers alike. You’ll learn how to mix, fold, shape, and bake naturally leavened bread using traditional artisan techniques.
We will also discuss starters and how to look after them at home, as well as how to prep your home oven and bake off the two loaves we make in class later that evening or the next day.
There will be demonstrations and instructional videos on the day.
Every participant receives a sourdough starter kit to take home, an apron to wear on the day, two loaves to bake later in your home oven, a recipe card, and a late lunch and refreshments provided as part of the day.
You will need to bring in on the day:
2 mixing bowls (20cm in diameter or more)
2 tea towels
A loaf pan or bread tin
Everything else on the day is provided.
Hope to see you there to start your bread-baking journey.
