Event description

“Making Home: It takes a Village” will look at the role of developers in the provision of social housing.

Nightingale Housing is a not-for-profit multi-residential developer dedicated to delivering homes that are environmentally, financially and socially sustainable. Nightingale applies an “inclusionary zoning” goal of 20% Affordable Housing to their projects delivered in partnership Community Housing Providers such as Women's Property Initiatives and Housing Choices Australia.

Focusing on the Nightingale Village, our speakers will unpack Nightingale Housing’s voluntary social housing targets, look at what this means in terms of the design of the project and understand the impact of these targets from the perspectives of a community housing provider and a community housing tenant.

What's On

Join us to better understand how Nightingale's affordable housing targets are not a deterrent in the marketplace, but instead foster diversity and a responsible, resilient community.
