In this session, we will explore:

    • The areas where assessors will require evidence the new standards are being met.
    • What care/nursing/domestic/management staff need to do to demonstrate they are meeting the requirements.
    • A basis for completing a gap analysis within the current service on areas that may require improvements. Including a tool that can be used to undertake the gap analysis.
    • The introduction of the concept of a model of care which underpins best practice in home care.
