Making it Work - Queenstown

What does it take for creatives to thrive in Aotearoa today?

Join acclaimed artist and Arts Makers Aotearoa advocate Judith Darragh for an open conversation on the role artists play in shaping the future of the sector.

From advocacy and collective action to the systems that support and (sometimes constrain) creative practice, this session unpacks where things are at and where they’re heading.

Connect with others, understand the shifting landscape and explore how organising together can strengthen the creative ecosystem across Aotearoa.

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how artists are advocating nationally, what’s changing and how you can be part of shaping what comes next.

Bring your questions, your whakaaro, and your curiosity.

This session is brought to you by Arts Makers Aotearoa and Three Lakes Cultural Trust.
