Making LinkedIn Work for You

In today’s changing world of work, your LinkedIn® profile is more than a CV.

It’s your personal brand, your digital presence, and often the first impression you make, before a conversation even begins.

Opportunities are no longer only applied for, they are discovered. Recruiters, hiring managers, and businesses are actively searching for people with the right skills, mindset, and visibility.

How you show up on LinkedIn directly influences what finds you.

This session is led by Stuart Little, Creative Strategist and Director of Agency8. Through his work supporting professionals, businesses, and large-scale programmes across New Zealand, Stuart brings a real-world perspective on how LinkedIn is actually being used today to identify, assess, and connect with talent for a changed job market.

Rather than focusing on theory, this workshop is built on practical insights, current hiring trends, and proven strategies that help people move from having a profile to building a presence that creates momentum.

You will gain a clearer understanding of how to position yourself, how to be found, and how to use LinkedIn as a tool that works for you consistently.‍

What You’ll Learn

How to build a strong personal brand on LinkedIn®
How to position your skills and experience with clarity and relevance
What employers and recruiters are actually looking for in 2026
How to create a profile that attracts the right opportunities
How to move from simply having a profile to building a visible, active presence

This session will provide the knowledge to build a LinkedIn® presence that reflects who you are, what you do, and how you work. The focus is not just on creating a profile, but on positioning yourself in a way that attracts the right opportunities and builds long-term career momentum.
