Making Our Mark

A free, intergenerational day of queer creativity, connection, and Kai presented in conjunction with Age Concern Auckland and the Albert–Eden Local Board.

This workshop is for ethnically diverse LGBTQIA+ folks and their friends, who want to forge meaningful connections through creativity.

This event brings younger and older queer people together to share stories through mark-making on pre-fired ceramic tiles and hands-on embroidery.

Guided by two artists, participants are invited to create at their own pace, using simple materials.

The day includes a series of drop-in creative workshops and activities where no experience is needed, and a relaxed community meet-up with shared food.
