Are you ready to strengthen your leadership practice?

Making Progress is a new online workshop series designed exclusively for Leadership Victoria Alumni who want to continue strengthening your leadership practice in an increasingly complex and uncertain world.

Grounded in Adaptive Leadership and Vertical Leadership Development, these interactive 90 minute online workshops invite Alumni back into the leadership laboratory. Not to revisit what you learned, but to apply it to the challenges you are facing now.

Take advantage of the exclusive Making Progress Series Pass to secure your place at all four of these valuable sessions.

Join us for the third workshop in the series, Energise Others.

Before a word is spoken, a decision made or a direction set, you are already creating a climate for the people around you. Your presence, behaviour and use of authority influence how others experience uncertainty, engage with challenge and contribute to progress. This interactive workshop explores how leaders mobilise people for adaptive work, not through position or authority alone, but through trust, purpose, authenticity and deliberate leadership presence. Through experiential learning and peer reflection, you'll examine how you create the conditions for people to engage with difficult work, navigate loss, collaborate across difference and contribute to something larger than themselves.

Together, we'll explore themes including:

Engaging diverse perspectives
Building trust and authenticity
Working across difference
Navigating loss and resistance
Inspiring shared purpose

You'll leave with:

Greater awareness of the climate your leadership creates
A deeper understanding of how others experience your leadership presence
Practical strategies for mobilising people around meaningful work
One deliberate shift to strengthen your impact and influence
Clear next steps for advancing a challenge that matters to you

Part of a four-part series

Energise Others is the third of four connected workshops in the Making Progress series. Across the four sessions, you'll move through the core disciplines of Adaptive Leadership - from understanding yourself, to reading the system, to mobilising others, to acting with judgement when there are no easy answers.

Each workshop builds on the last, so the real value comes from experiencing the full arc. But each session will make sense as a standalone session too.

Workshop 2: Diagnose Situation - Wed, 21 October 2026 | 12:00 - 1:30 pm: Read the system and tell the difference between technical problems and adaptive challenges. Secure your place

Workshop 3: Energise Others - Tue, 17 November 2026 | 12:00 - 1:30 pm: Mobilise people through trust, purpose and presence, not authority alone Secure your place

Workshop 4: Intervene Skilfully - Wed, 2 December 2026 | 12:00 - 1:30 pm: Know when to step forward, when to hold steady, and how to create progress under pressure. Secure your place

These workshops are exclusively available to Leadership Victoria Alumni.
