Making Progress Webinar 4/4: Intervene Skilfully
Description
Are you ready to strengthen your leadership practice?
Making Progress is a new online workshop series designed exclusively for Leadership Victoria Alumni who want to continue strengthening your leadership practice in an increasingly complex and uncertain world.
Grounded in Adaptive Leadership and Vertical Leadership Development, these interactive 90 minute online workshops invite Alumni back into the leadership laboratory. Not to revisit what you learned, but to apply it to the challenges you are facing now.
Take advantage of the exclusive Making Progress Series Pass to secure your place at all four of these valuable sessions.
Join us for the fourth and final workshop in the series, Intervene Skilfully.
Most leaders know what needs to change. The harder question is how to act in ways that create progress, learning and shared responsibility, without becoming the solution yourself. This is where Adaptive Leadership comes to life. It requires leaders to read the system, understand what the moment demands, navigate competing pressures, and make purposeful choices in the face of uncertainty. It calls for the judgement to know when to challenge, when to support, when to create productive tension, and when to hold steady. Through experiential learning, peer consultation and real leadership challenges, you'll explore how you exercise leadership when there are no easy answers.
Together, we'll explore themes including:
Reading the system and what the moment demands
Navigating competing pressures
Knowing when to challenge and when to support
Creating productive tension
Staying grounded in purpose under pressure
You'll leave with:
Greater confidence in knowing when to step forward and when to step back
A deeper understanding of your leadership instincts and intervention style
Practical approaches for navigating complexity, resistance and uncertainty
Increased clarity about how to create progress on a challenge that matters to you

Part of a four-part series
Intervene Skilfully is the final of four connected workshops in the Making Progress series. Across the four sessions, you'll move through the core disciplines of Adaptive Leadership - from understanding yourself, to reading the system, to mobilising others, to acting with judgement when there are no easy answers.
Each workshop builds on the last, so the real value comes from experiencing the full arc. But each session will make sense as a standalone session too.
