    Kick off summer at a fun filled event to celebrate 130 years of the Lismore to Murwillumbah Railway and exciting evolution of Prospero Street and the Northern Rivers Rail Trail at the Heritage Murwillumbah Railway Station Precinct into a hub of creativity, community and businesses.

    Food and Drinks 
    Filipino BBQ with Parilya, Toastie and Cheese Station with Kat Harvey CheeseSmooth Juice refreshing beverages and delights, shaved ice cool down with the Snowman, The Platform cafe at the station, Devonshire Tea and Scones at Toad Hall Vintage.

    Live music 
    Phil and Tilley, followed by The Jacks Band playing on the Jam Van generously provided by the Tweed Holiday Parks, and the Big Blue duo and Luke Pauley at the station

    Classic and Sports Car Show 
    Showcase | 2.30pm - 7.30pm | Prospero Street & Underground Carpark 

    Marvel at a stunning display of classic and sporty cars presented by the Tweed Valley Vehicle Restorers Club! Chat with the passionate members about how they restored and maintain these beautiful vehicles. Don't miss this chance to see these incredible machines and learn about the fun and passion that goes into preserving and enjoying them.

    Kids Caring for Country
    Cultural Performance and Activity | 3pm - 3.30pm | Buckley Park, Prospero Street

    Kids Caring for Country is a vibrant First Nations dance group that has enriched Murwillumbah for 15 years. Through free after-school programs, they connect Indigenous children and families with their heritage, teaching cultural values and a deep respect for the land.

    Come and experience their captivating and interactive performances, fostering unity across cultures. Don’t miss this inspiring celebration of culture, community, and connection to the land.

    The Earthmoving Zone
    Display & interactive Stall | Prospero Street

    Get hands-on at an interactive display with CMC's large earthmoving machine, hardhats, and fluoro gear for kids.. and adults! Explore Civil Mining & Construction’s vital flood restoration work, including recent projects like the Kyogle Road/Mt Warning Road restoration, and connect with the team dedicated to rebuilding and supporting our community.     Trackless Train Rides

    The Kingswood Creative crew is bringing you exciting skate workshops! With modular skate ramps designed for all ability levels, this is the perfect chance to learn the basics or improve your skills. Whether you're a first-timer or already skating, their friendly and experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. 

    Perfect for ages 5 years and up, from beginners to those already skating.
    Choose from four lesson times, each accommodating up to 20 participants, so bring your friends and join the fun!   

    Wheelie Fun: Personalised License Plates & Motorbike Sounds for Bikes

    The Lollipop Ladies

    Be led across randomly appearing zebra crossings, revolve around spontaneous roundabouts made of unsuspecting people, obey bizarre street signs (or suffer the consequences) and make sure you don’t step on the cracks!!!! Presented by Roundabout Theatre.

    Dusty Rummage Vintage Fashion Markets

    The Flycyle
    Participatory Performances | Northern Rivers Rail Trail, Murwillumbah Railway Station

    Edmund and Amelia Lepht are planning to use the Rail Trail as a runway to launch their magnificent, one of a kind, flying machine. They will be recruiting new students for their Flying, Navigation, and Imagination School. Presented by Roundabout Theatre.

    Bike Care Workshops

    Roll in for a Bike Care Workshop with the Better by Bike crew at the Railway Station! Perfect for all ages, both beginners and seasoned riders looking to keep your ride in top shape!

    Street Art in the Underground Carpark
    Self-guided Exhibition Tour | 2.30pm - 7.30pm | Underground Carpark, Prospero Street 

    Explore the vibrant street art in the underground carpark. The walls are adorned with pieces possibly created by renowned international artists like Fresk, Spoke, Next, Opium, and Expenc. Whether original or tribute pieces, this urban art collection spray painted between 2004 and 2005, transforms the carpark into a ready-made art installation space, celebrating the creative spirit and history of street art in Murwillumbah.

    Cycling Without Age
    Drop-in stall and rides | 2.30pm - 5 pm | Northern Rivers Rail Trail, Murwillumbah Railway Station

    Visit Cycling Without Age, connecting people of all ages and abilities to their communities through free trishaw e-bike rides piloted by volunteers—all about making connections, building bridges across generations, and feeling the wind in your hair!

    The Storytelling Salon at the Museum on Wheels
    Story-sharing, Tours, and Exhibitions | 2:30pm - 7pm | Prospero Street 

    Gather at the Storytelling Salon to pick up your exhibition guide, join a tour and share or listen to stories from historians, business owners, and community members. Discover the rich history of South Murwillumbah, the original main street of Murwillumbah, Prospero Street and the evolution of the Lismore to Tweed Railway which included the opening of the Murwillumbah Railway Station 130 years ago.

    - Tours of the beautiful and historic Paradise Living Co building with Jason Bolt and Ian Holston. 3:30pm, 5pm, 6pm & 7pm. Duration 20min.

    Stop by and chat with the passionate Northern Rivers Rail Trail Supporters. They have been supporting the transformation of the 130km rail corridor between Murwillumbah and Casino since 2013! Learn how the Northern Rivers Rail Trail connects communities and revitalises towns and discover how you can volunteer, donate, or get involved in this inspiring project. Be part of something extraordinary and help shape the future of this incredible trail!
