During this workshop you will learn how to twist together strands of fabric to make twine. Some people find this craft meditative and relaxing in nature. It is very portable and low tech. Tiffany will display a range of objects she has made from twine during the class and inspire you to imagine the creative possibilities a simple ball of twine offers. Following the workshop you might choose to experiment with using other media (such as grasses, news paper, or plastic plarn) for making twine.

What You Will Need To Bring:

A sharp scissors that can cut fabric
Cotton woven fabric (eg old pillowcase or sheet) Bringing fabric is optional though as Tiffany will bring scraps you can help yourself to.

Working primarily with natural fibers her crafting aesthetic has been described as Wabi-sabi.
