Many of the workshop tickets will be available for pre-purchase online and a lot of them sell out in the leadup to the Maleny Wood Expo.

In order to avoid disappointment, we recommend you purchase your tickets in advance.

Please note that most workshop tickets include a one day or multi-day pass depending on the duration of the workshop.

So if you are booking a workshop with a pass included, you will not have to purchase a ticket here.

All workshops will be listed under the program section of the Maleny Wood Expo website.

The Maleny Wood Expo is held at the Maleny Showgrounds, 13 Maleny-Stanley River Road, Maleny (Route 23), just 1km from the centre of town.

Limited parking is available at the Maleny Showgrounds for a gold coin donation (please bring cash). All proceeds will go to Rotary Maleny.

Parking is also available in the surrounding area, requiring an easy walk to the Maleny Showgrounds.

If you incorporate a stroll from Coral Street along the Obi Obi Boardwalk, you may even be lucky enough to spot a platypus!

We encourage you to use public transport where possible. The nearest train station is Landsborough.

To ensure we provide a safe experience for all our visitors, we kindly ask that you please do not bring your pets to the Maleny Wood Expo. You will not be granted entry.

Assistance animals are accepted.

It’s always wise to be sun safe at the Maleny Wood Expo.

This includes wearing a hat, sunscreen and protective clothing.

If you are attending a workshop, there may be specific instructions on what to wear and bring, so check each workshop description and any notes in your booking for details.

The Maleny Wood Expo is a single-use-plastic free event so bring your own drinking water bottle to refill.

The Maleny Wood Expo is a proud initiative of Barung Landcare, celebrating 25 years of the Maleny Wood Expo.
