Peace Run Records is proud to present folk musicians Josh Maynard & Malia Stirling, who have come together to share their hearts, music and stories on Friday 26 July at Peace Run Records, Nambour. The two create music that focuses on Australia’s diverse landscapes, life and love. For the past 2 years, Josh and Malia have travelled across Australia and shared stages with Thirsty Merc, The Fabulous Caprettos, Vanessa Amorosi, Shane Howard, John Schumann and the Vagabond Crew and more. Supported by local songstress, Darcy Kate who will be opening the show with her gorgeous original tunes from 7pm. Doors will open at 6.30pm at tickets are $25 entry.

Josh Maynard
Self-taught singer/songwriter, Josh Maynard has been pursuing his love for Australian music from the very start. From small beginnings living rurally in Central West New South Whales, Josh has spread his music across Australia captivating audiences at festivals, events and venues across New South Whales, Victoria and Queensland. With poetic lyrics and timeless melodies; Josh paints vivid pictures drawing from his own as well as other peoples experiences. His passion is to connect people to themselves, one another and place through song. Josh has recorded with and shared stages with an array of internationally recognised and respected artists such as Cold Chisel, Birds of Tokyo, Thirsty Merc, Vanessa
Amorosi, Neil Murray, The Fabulous Caprettos, Shane Howard, John Schumann, Michael Waugh, and Frank Povah.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, Malia Stirling is an up and coming Australian folk singer/
songwriter. Shedding light on losing yourself, finding yourself and falling involve with the journey; Malia aims to create a safe, supportive space for like-minded people to gather and feel all the feels. Recently, Malia has shared her songs with listeners across Australia supporting internationally known artists such as; The Fabulous Caprettos (Darryl
Braithwaite, Rai Thistlethwaite, Jack Jones and Russell Morris) and Vanessa Amorosi as well as Thirsty Merc, John Schumann (RedGum) and Shane Howard (Goanna) alongside her partner, Josh Maynard. Together, the pair have found a life on the road, falling more involve with the country, making memories and sharing stories along the way.
Darcy Kate Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia, Darcy Kate is an extremely passionate artist. Her original songs led by her melodic vocals are a timeless blend of genres including folk, country, rock, blues, and pop. Darcy is an imaginative storyteller like the Australian greats before her. She bends emotive storytelling with pure pop sensibilities and her lyrics comprise themes of love, change, connection, and adventure. Fans of Jewel, Kate Miller-Heidke, Mazzy Star and Norah Jones will feel at home listening to Darcy’s brilliant storytelling and stunning melodies.
