Event description

Melbourne vocal adventurer, multi-instrumentalist and looping beatboxing songwriter Mal Webb launches his latest album Pod. Mal sings his brain-provoking songs with guitar, mbira, slide trumpet, trombone and loopers, whilst Kylie Morrigan, (Orchestra Victoria, Stevie Wonder, Barry White) is a perfect foil to Mal's craziness with her violin and vocals.

They are joined by Sydney's The Third Voice (Clarita Derwent, Christina Mimmocchi, Gemma Turner) with their exquisite 3-part harmonies, original songs, and Afro-Cuban traditional song cycles - accompanied by guitar, percussion, concertina and cello.
