Join us for a special event celebrating Mother's Day weekend 2024, dedicated to honoring the essence of Māmā and the journey of motherhood. This event is a heartfelt recognition of the values of Integrity, Aroha, and Whakapapa ❤️
Our purpose is to empower and uplift, embracing confidence, ora, and unleashing the mana wāhine that is already within us—something we have inherited. Through a series of steps and processes, we aim to reclaim who we are, honoring the sacred journey of motherhood. We look forward to guiding you all through a range of engaging Mauri uplifting group activities and exercises throughout the retreat. Our intention is to hold sacred space for and with you all and that all of these Mind, Body Wairua nurturing activities serve you all as valuable tools (tangible and non-tangible) to takeaway with you to add value to and serve your Māmā Ora. And we look forward to enjoying lots of great laughs, relaxed kōrero Māmā to Māmā over light refreshments in between too! Basically come enjoy a moment to invest in yourself in a way that you may not typically do.
The idea of celebrating Mother's Day traces back to Anna Jarvis, an American social activist who advocated for a day to express love and gratitude to mothers. Our event aligns with this spirit, and also with the preparation of our upcoming Matariki Māori New Year. It is time to step in, connect with your sacred inner knowing, celebrating yourself and YOUR POWERFUL journey.
