MAMAW Festival: Mountains of Appalachia Music, Art, and Wellness Festival

Mountains of Appalachia Music, Arts, and Wellness Festival (MAMAW Fest) takes place 10am-6pm on Saturday July 27th, 2024, on the streets of downtown Harlan. A celebration of community care, the day will feature local artists, vendors, musicians, and healthcare providers and culminate in an evening performance of Angels Unaware, the 10th theater production of local arts collective, Higher Ground – written, performed, and created by local community members. MAMAW Fest is coordinated by Devyn Creech, Kate Handzlik, Higher Ground members, and volunteers.
