Event description

Ann Brewster, a presenter from the U3A Wagga Wagga Inc. (University of the Third Age) will provide a detailed account of the vision and work of the Reverend John Flynn – the man on the twenty dollar note.

While working as a minister for the Australian Inland Mission to bring medical aid and nursing facilities to the Australian outback, he went on to pioneer the world’s first aerial medical service, now known as the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

This talk is ideal for people aged 16+ years.
