Event description

MAN TO MAN WARRIOR WEEKENDER - JUNE 17 - 19...

After what was a potent and powerful display of healthy masculinity and the brilliant feedback we received from the men who attended the inaugural edition of our brotherhood retreats, we are inspired to continue on with the amazing success of this retreat experience, and will continue to build the brand of the Man to Man Warrior Weekender...We will again be pulling out all stops to provide a safe, healing and primal space for any man who wishes to transform themselves for the better, in the presence of fellow open hearted and open minded brothers...We will be revisiting our friends private farm in Bridgetown, complete with a dam for morning breathwork and plunge, dedicated Kundalini Yoga room in the large farmhouse, grassy areas for freestyle camping and rolling hills to look over in the Sunday ice bath...If you don't have a tent, there's a large detached room to sleep in and tow 10 man tents for any one wanting to roll up with just blankets and pillows...!!Our number one goal is to hold a solid container and safely held space for you to dig deep and reprogram yourself in ways that 'conventional' approaches' and the system' do not offer...

Solo dad to two young children, Andrew experienced a considerably troubled youth and turbulent earlier adult life. It was through his darkest of hours that he reached deeply within himself and worked hard to redefine himself to realize the successes he made in the corporate world. Despite these, he felt that something was missing and after a deep journey of healing, forgiveness and increased self-awareness he stepped out of the corporate world and into a host of personal development trainings so he could utilize his lived experience to help other men. His drive to help other men realize their full potential in order to live a life of healthy relationships and fulfilment is now a central pillar of his life.

Benji is a qualified and experienced in Community Services, a kundalini yoga teacher, trained shamanism practitioner, retreat and youth workshop facilitation.
From the passing of his parents in the early 2000’s; significant struggles with addiction; homelessness; the birth of his estranged 1st daughter; PTSD recovery; the birth of his 2nd daughter in 2020 and familial isolation, he intimately knows the challenges that life can offer. Being met with the reality of there being a considerable lack of support services within 'the system' for men - particularly fathers - after the birth of his 2nd daughter, he steered himself through an to a existential crisis to recover on a path of self-development through holistic wellness and deepened spiritual practice. Understanding how much men can struggle and his passion for fomenting societal change for men is central to why he offers opportunities of healing and growth for anyone who wishes to heed the call.

John will be guiding us all through rich soundscapes of his various sound healing instruments on the Friday & Saturday nights in the dome. John is an intuitively skilled, well travelled and heart-centered brother who’s spiritual journey commenced over 30 years ago through his global pilgrimages of Earth healing. His journey with sound began on the 08/08/08 when he was invited to be part of a sunrise ceremony inside Stonehenge where he “heard the stones sing”. He’s since shared his Yidaki (didgeridoo) sounds in Ceremony at Uluru and the Himalayas. Being also a Reiki master for 25+ years, he’s performed healing in St Charles Gardiner hospital the past 15 years. John is greatly looking forward to sharing the healing and transformation power of sound with you all again.

Devoted husband and father to two young children, Jeromie experienced a life of family separation and relocation to the UK with only his mother as a child, which saw him struggle with feelings of abandonment. Following his return to Australia, he found himself living an unhealthy lifestyle of partying, drugs and other self-destructive behaviors in his 20’s. This saw him then choose a journey into personal health and fitness. He was very unfit and realized it was because of eating fast food and excess alcohol on a regular basis. He immersed himself in a new - much healthier lifestyle - which saw his emotional and mental greatly improve. Through the techniques and skills he’s gained, he’s helped others reform their bodies and mind while abolishing limiting beliefs. From Kettlebell training under the guidance of the world leader and founder of the International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation, Steve Kotter. His knowledge in health & fitness spans from Olympic rings, sand bag workouts, Metabolic Training and HIIT to entirely transform anyone wanting to make positive body choices. Jeromie has taken part in national competitions for summer shreds with the Robards method training and was graded in the top 3 nationwide. He’s also dedicated much of the last few years to learning and adapting to vegan fitness training and becoming a leader in this field. Jeromie has also taken part in the Tough Mudder course by sheer determination to push through negative mind-speak and he’s looking very much forward to supporting you at the retreat.
