Man Walk Darwin 2023

As part of Men's Health Week, all Territory men, women and children and invited to a special Man Walk Darwin event on Saturday 24 June 2023 starting at Bennett Park (opp. Deck Bar). We'll gather from 7am and start the leisurely 3.5km walk through Darwin City around 7:30am. 

Walk, Talk, Support - Join in the Saturday morning men's walk through Darwin City culminating in a free BBQ Breakfast, short presentation and Expo stalls showcasing information to support Territory men. 

HISTORY OF MAN WALK

In 2018 a guy named Burnsy made a simple decision that would not only change his life, but the lives of hundreds around Australia. He decided to go to bed early, get up with the sun, and head out for walk to shake things up.

He told some mates about it and a few guys joined in the morning walks and led to it being called ‘The Man Walk’ with the ‘walktalksupport’ slogan shortly followed by a facebook page.

There are now around 60 Man Walks across the country and the Man Walk Darwin is growing.
