One of the most common requested areas of support that MWI see relates to staff who are underperforming in some way. Dave will talk to us about the concept of 'can't do/won't do management', but in preparation, we'd love to hear your questions or examples of when you've faced a challenging situation of staff underperforming in their role.
If you'd like Dave's take on how you might approach a challenge, give us a brief outline of what you have faced, are facing or anticipate dealing with, and Dave will select some to talk through in our session. I would love to give Dave some “real live” examples he can talk through, I am happy to ask your questions for you if you would prefer to remain anonymous, please just email AHEP.

Dave is a skilled Management and Leadership Specialist with 30 years of experience in organisational development and people, systems and teams management. With a particular interest in people-management and the significant impacts realised when this is done well, Dave has been training and Mentoring Managers for 20 years. This has been in his capacity as Head of Service Development and Improvement at Porchlight (up to 2022) and now as Director of Performance and Development at Social Value Business. Dave is the Managing Director of Manage With Impact, a people-management mentoring and training organisation working across sectors to develop skills, knowledge and confidence in managing people, using a psychosocial model and commonly applied theories of motivation and leadership. Dave has a BA (Hons) in Education and Professional Training, 1st Class.
