Manging poor performance involves more than responding when something goes wrong. It requires clear expectations, timely and fact-based feedback, active listening and an agreed plan for improvement.
This workshop introduces practical tools for approaching challenging conversations, identifying the causes of underperformance and using coaching techniques to build employee capability, accountability and engagement.

Understanding the importance of performance management;
Common mistakes to avoid;
Setting clear expectations through position descriptions,
Onboarding, KPIs and performance reviews;
Using performance data appropriately;
The BIFF feedback model; preparing for and conducting difficult conversations;
Agreeing on improvement actions;
Performance management versus coaching;
Active listening and questioning techniques;
The GROW coaching model.
Suitable for: Small business owners and start-up founders who employ staff, as well as managers, supervisors, team leaders and people who are new to managing employees.

This workshop is available to attend in person and online for small business owners in REGIONAL Western Australia based in the South West, Peel, Mid West/Gascoyne, Pilbara and Wheatbelt regions.
