    Event description

    About the event: “Planning and hosting a mega event such as the Olympic Games is a complex undertaking”. They are immensely challenging for any host country and sports organisations to undertake.

    This presentation will take you behind the scenes as to what is actually involved in planning this event and executing the greatest sports show in the world.

    Olympic Games Technical Delegate / Control Committee Member Beach Volleyball (1996, 2000, 2004)
    Involved strategic planning and preparation (i.e. strict competition regulations, drugs testing, media coordination, competition schedules, liaison with players and coaches, etc).

    International Federation / AVC/ VNZ Technical Supervisor, Referee Delegate, Referee 1988 - 2008
    Involved strategic planning and preparation (i.e. Master Plan implementation, pre-tournament inspections, verification of sponsorship rights, media coordination, oversee financials, etc) Responsible for overseeing over 100 International Tournaments / 800 International matches officiated.
