Event description
This interactive workshop will focus on some of the key principles of managing your ewe’s nutritional requirements whilst maintaining soil cover and prevent soil erosion. The day will cover:
- Â Â Â Changing ewe nutritional requirements over a production year
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Feed budgeting
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Filling the autumn feed gap
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Condition scoring ewes
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Pasture assessment
The day will also be an opportunity to connect with other women involved in farming while learning how to care for your livestock and farming soils.
The full cost of this workshop is $460. The prices includes lunch and morning tea.Thanks to generous support from the workshops sponsors, the fee has been heavily subsidised.Â
