Are you interested in improving your farm productivity and profitability, and or environmental outcomes in these challenging times? Learn more about how to regenerate your land and build resilience to drought and other climate extremes through practical actions. Build your confidence in making decisions that can regenerate your land. Meet others in the district that you can learn from and share your experience and support each other. This workshop will discuss and demonstrate actions that can reduce your exposure to increased prices or reduced supply of external inputs (fuel, fertiliser, herbicides, etc), providing a way to potentially increase profitability.

The half-day workshop will commence with a brief theory session of the principles and key actions to regenerating your land, and an overview of the initial actions and observations of the cattle grazing enterprisewe're visiting. We will then proceed to visit some sites on the property to view regenerative actions implemented and discuss the results.

You will learn more about managing your soil, water, and plants (grazing and cropping) to regenerate landscape function to improve your resilience to drought and other climate extremes. The purpose is to provide an understanding to attendees of what practical actions they can implement on their properties, and how to adapt their property management to suit the location and resources available. These actions have been shown to work across Australia and globally, actions can be simple and cost effective or can be fast-tracked if you have the resources.
