This is an introductory workshop. You will learn to:

  1. Building meaningful relationship and self-determination,
  2. Building problem solving skills,
  3. Facilitating social action and cultural democracy,
  4. Building cultural capacity, remove barriers to cultural representations,
  5. Learning something new,
  6. Developing creativity,
  7. Allowing self-expression, and
  8. Have fun!

Facilitated by Community Artist Jen Lynch. At the end of the workshop, you’ll gain the knowledge of basic dotting techniques, terminologies and the tools to create beautiful Mandala dot paintings.

What is Mandala Dot Painting?

Regarded as therapeutic art that involves creating a pattern with many small colourful dots. It is geometrical and traditionally used as a tool to practice meditation and focus.

Mandala dot painting can be done on anything – rocks, wood, cups, pots, glass, canvas and more. Even a pebble from the garden can be transformed into a precious token.

Come and explore - unleash and develop your creativity through your own self-expression of colours and designs. Learn how to be mindful, learn something new, develop your inner stillness, clear your mind, relax and have fun!
