Mandala Food Forest Tour Composting & No~Dig Vegetable Garden Bed Workshops Spring 2026

We are a Sanctuary located at Boolambayte, on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. We will share with you how & why? we have grown from grass/lawn to food, herbs & medicine forest. Food is Medicine!

We'll begin with a tour of our Mandala Food Forest Garden, then we will do a live demonstration creation of a No~Dig Vegetable Garden be & finish with a composting demonstration workshop. Rain, hail or shine, wear gumboots/farm appropriate footwear, hat or umbrella depending on the weather...? & bring water/drink bottle & morning tea/picnic to enjoy in our Sanctuary Space after event if you like ~ feel free to bring a notebook & take notes for your future reference along the way.

We are inspired by practicing a mix of Permaculture ~ Natural Farming ~ Syntropic Agroforestry ~ Regenerative Agriculture ~ NoDig ~ Intuitive Gardening. We grow our food without harmful pesticides & herbicides & have been making our own compost to feed our soil gardens & plants for over a decade.

We will demonstrate the variety of composting systems/techniques that we utilise & show you how we turn waste into life (there is no waste) create our compost, no dig garden beds & grow our own food/herbs/medicine herbicide & pesticide free.

Please be mindful we are home to an amazing array of wildlife including birds/reptiles/bugs. Consciousness is Key.

$50 per adult + small humanitix booking fee ~ Children are free. We will have some plants for sale on the day ~ please bring cash if you'd like to purchase plants?

We are located 10 mins from Bulahdelah, pristine Seal Rocks is our nearest beach and we share the driveway entrance to the Grandis, tallest tree in NSW. This is Gathang Country ~ We acknowledge and pay respect to the Ancestors, Original Custodians of the land upon which we now live, we pay respect to Elders past, present and future and extend that respect to all Original Caretakers for the wisdom and knowledge they hold & share around the Mother Earth.

All funds raised from visitors go back into the land to continue to support our work here on the ground. The need for food security and food sovereignty has never been more important, to have healthy, culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods free from toxic chemicals is the key to human survival.We are a Sanctuary located at Boolambayte, on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia.
