[Mandurah] Grant Writing & Safeguarding Workshop - YACWA Small Grants Program
Event description
This workshop will support potential YACWA Small Grants Program applicants to write strong submissions which incorporate the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. More information about the YACWA Small Grants Program, supported by Lotterywest, can be found here.
In this interactive workshop, attendees will:
Learn common grant processes, including acquitting, auspicing, and in-kind donations
Learn how to write a Theory of Change and Logic Model
Learn what Safeguarding and the National Principles of Child Safe Organisations are
Identify safeguarding risk within their own grant activities
Work as a group to mitigate these risks
YACWA recognises the value of place-based expertise and lived experience. Communities know themselves best. This workshop doesn't seek to prescribe how safety looks in your community, but rather to hold discussions about safety with your unique community at its heart.
Light catering will be provided.
If you have any questions or concerns about your eligibility or the safeguarding content, please get in touch with Jake, YACWA's Grants Officer.
