Their entire success depends on support. Busy and high-end executives are supported by teams of specialised and talented people.
A leader is only interested in success however best it comes.
Asking for support is a strategic move, its a sign of intelligence.
About This Event
Manfulness is an interactive workshop designed for today’s modern man to attain respect and calm. Think mindfulness for men.
During this evening workshop guests will learn:
- Some tools and resources to use so that words and actions have a positive impact
- About the rewards from developing Mindfulness
- How using mindfulness in training or exercising is helpful
During the evening, group discussions will be led by presenters Anastasia Charitou and Scott Tegan. These discussions will allow for guests to share experiences with other men or listen to others sharing. This activity helps us to understand that we are not the first or only person to be struggling or succeeding in this aspect of life.
This event is for men who:
- are looking to succeed in every aspect of their life
- may be feeling overwhelm in some aspects of life
- want to lead by example for their family and peers
- want to gain resources and processes to hand down to children or share with peers
- have a drive to succeed
The Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers attribute much of their success to the practice of mindfulness.
Not only does mindfulness improve sporting performance, its excellent for work performance and general health.
It makes sense that if it works in your professional life, you would want to implement it in your personal life to, right?
Apart from your physical changes, implementing mindfulness in your personal life, means positive outcomes for your family, friends and colleagues. They will be appreciative.
You will be much more appealing to partners or potential partners, with mindfulness helping you to become a better communicator, and a better lover.
Practicing mindfulness brings results in all our areas of health including:
- protecting against developing addictions
- keeping blood pressure down
- decreasing the risk of succumbing to man-flu
- enhancing the ability to handle stress

About the Presenters
Meet Anastasia, facilitator at the upcoming event, Manfulness. Anastasia is a Mindfulness Consultant and will present on how men’s caveman instincts kick in during times of stress, affecting relationships.
Trained in Business and Entrepreneurship, working in business across the globe found Anastasia seeking to make meaning of life and people.
After a well-grounded education in Mindfulness, Enneagram and Esoteric Psychology, Anastasia knew it was time to pass on her knowledge in the realms of human behaviour: Delving into habitual behaviours, unconscious habits, and the egoic mind.
Working with corporate groups, business owners and allied wellness professionals, Anastasia focuses on areas of wellbeing that affect individuals including stress management, sleep issues, leadership, relationships, raising awareness and mindfulness. Anastasia has a particular interest in mindfulness and stress management for men.
The insight she now has in her own life is the basis of building awareness around unconscious habits and reactions and unshakeable calm in all those she works with.
Meet Scott, co-facilitator at the upcoming event, Manfulness. Scott is a
rehab and sports trainer and will lead the second part of the evening
20 years as a Chef in five star hotels means Scott Tegan knows the value of nutrition. His pressurised roles saw him gain weight. Stress and overwhelm on the job was the result of not focussing on his wellness.
Not long ago Scott weighed 140kgs. Being at his heaviest, he knew it was time. Time to consider his depression and anxiety needed to be dealt with or his addictions would march him to an early grave.
Since then, Scott has become a qualified fitness professional, with a Masters in Functional Training & Rehab, giving him a new edge – feeding his soul, fuelling his body.
Scott has worked with athletes across many disciplines including professional AFLW teams, body builders, cyclists, triathletes and NDIS participants.
Scott’s vision is to assist 1 MILLION people to improve their own health and wellness, no matter their status, level of fitness or mental health. Scott knows that every human being has what they need within them, to turn wellness challenges into positive change.
