Mangrove & Marine Science Panels & Talks​​ ​

Join us for Mangrove & Marine Science Panels & Talks, taking place on Friday, 19 June 2026 at the IOMRC Auditorium (UWA).

This event brings together leading researchers across marine and coastal sciences, with expertise spanning plant physiology, climate science, mangrove ecology, marine invertebrates, coastal geomorphology, and spatial ecology. It will be a fantastic opportunity to hear about cutting-edge research and engage in cross-disciplinary discussions.

You can reach the UWA campus by heading south-west from Perth CBD along Mounts Bay Road. The event will be held at the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre (IOMRC) ground floor, located on Fairway.

Parking

Paid parking is available on campus, including parking areas near Fairway. Parking can be paid for using the EasyPark app. As the event is being held during the semester break, parking and traffic around campus are expected to be lighter than usual, though visitors are still encouraged to allow a little extra time for arrival.

Public Transport

Several bus routes provide direct access to the campus:

• Bus 97 from Subiaco Train Station

• Buses 102 and 107 from Wellington Street Bus Station in Perth CBD

• Bus 950 travelling from Perth City to UWA

All services stop near the corner of Stirling Highway and Fairway, a short walk from the IOMRC building.
