Fri, 15 Aug, 11am - 12pm AWST

Event description

Join Ethan Chadd, an experienced first nations tour guide, and journey along part of an ancient Noongar trade route, where for thousands of years food was hunted and foraged, great gatherings were conducted, sacred stories were shared, and marriages were arranged. Prior to colonisation and continuing today, Walyalup is distinguished as a spiritual place for Noongar people and is linked to our creation stories. Explore the Manjaree trail and learn how Noongar people cared for and thrived on this country for millennia, and how colonisation irrevocably changed the lives of Aboriginal peoples.

Dates: Friday 15th August 2025

Time: 11am - 12pm (1 hour session)

Disclaimer: Weather can be unpredictable. Make sure to bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.
