Honey Tasting Challenge: A Sweet Taste of the Northern Beaches

Join us at Manly Food Co-op during the Rise Manly festival for a unique honey tasting experience! Sample a selection of delicious local honeys and put your palate to the test by matching each one to expert tasting notes crafted by honey sommelier Jessica Locarnini. Get them right and you’ll win a sweet prize! 

Drop in anytime during the festival to sample our honeys, or book a spot to enjoy a guided tasting experience—complete with a personalised introduction to bulk food shopping.

Learn to think like a honey sommelier: you'll be guided through the look, smell, taste and texture of our selection of locally made honeys. Once you've had your sweet fix, you'll receive a tour of the store and learn how to reduce waste in your kitchen. 

All participants will also take home a 10% off voucher for the Co-op and a beautifully curated set of honey-based recipes—so you can keep the flavour adventure going in your own kitchen. Come discover the rich diversity of our local hives—one spoonful at a time.
