Manly West Referendum BBQ - Year 5&6 - Volunteer Here!

REFERENDUM BBQ - MANLY WEST PUBLIC SCHOOL - SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2023 - 7AM TO 3PM

This is a joint fundraising activity for Year 5&6 - funds raised will be directed toward Year 6 activities (hoodie, yearbook, graduation!). It's an early opportunity for Year 5 to kick start fundraising efforts for next year, with the Year 6 parents of the class of 2023, assisting with handover. The funds raised will be shared. The election BBQ in March 2023, helped to raise over $4,000. 

We need your help! There are roles for all skill levels, jobs for prior to the day as well as on the day! Feel free to volunteer where you can - and if you can't make it on the day - but would like to help - you can make a donation - cash here - or a bottle or two for the raffle!

EVENT LEAD - Year 5 & 6 - Manage the organisation of the day and be the on-site lead on the day to ensure the smooth running of the event. Briefing will be provided. 

YEAR 5 & 6 BAKERS - Can't make it on the day - but happy to help by baking a cake! Year 5&6 students will be able to assist with the sale of cakes on the day! Please deliver your baked goods to school on either the Friday afternoon at 3.20pm - or alternatively on the day. Please deliver cakes on paper plates, in individual portions ready for sale. 

SQUARE AND PAYMENT LEAD - Assist in the setup of the payment system prior, with assistance - and manage the payment processing on the day. It is simple once setup! Manage the cash taken on the day from count to banking. 

MARKETING - working with the event leads, create a flyer + communicate the event via local FB pages. Encourage voters to vote at Manly West! 

BBQ HELPERS - Setup and cook onions, sausages, bacon & eggs on the day! 

SERVICE - Process payments, serve cakes, bacon & egg rolls, drinks & sausages on the day! 

STUDENT VOLUNTEERS - Students will be able to assist in the sale of the baked goods - the more we have - the more that the students can help! No need to sign them up - just bring them along on the day! 

WINE & BEER DONATIONS FOR A RAFFLE - please select this option should you wish to make a donation to the raffle. You will be contacted with details on where to drop off your donation prior to the event!
