We know young people are the heartbeat of our community – our leaders, innovators, creatives, and environmental champions. We know you’re bursting with ideas and ready to make waves, so this brand new forum is all about YOU - designed to connect, inspire, and tackle the issues that matter most to YOU!
Our first forum will be free and will be all about tackling life’s challenges and the impacts to your mental health in the year ahead. Whether you’re in Years 7-12, or transitioning to an apprenticeship, university or full-time work, change is constant and can feel like a wild rollercoaster – but you don’t have to ride it alone!

We’re thrilled to welcome Georgie Furze, 2024 Manly Local Woman of the Year and a powerhouse in the mental health space. As a keynote speaker, life coach, mentor, athlete, and community ambassador, Georgie specialises in connection. Through her transformative approach, she helps people overcome challenges, nurture meaningful relationships, and break free from limiting habits. Her strong will, passion for life, and commitment to personal growth make her a true inspiration.
Joining Georgie is Craig Stevens, CEO of LocalKind Northern Beaches. With over 15 years of experience in mental health and community services, Craig has dedicated his career to leading and developing trauma-informed support for vulnerable individuals. LocalKind Northern Beaches tackles critical issues like homelessness, domestic violence, and refugee settlement, while offering early intervention programs that empower families, youth, and children. Craig’s leadership and hands-on community involvement make him a vital voice in shaping resilience and fostering well-being.
