Learn the ancient practice of mantra recitation and art of mala-making in this beginner-friendly meditation workshop.

What Is a Mantra?

Mantra means “mind protection.” For centuries, mantra recitation has been used as a powerful method to:

Increase concentration and focus
Develop a calm, controlled, and positive mind
Connect with enlightened power

Mantra recitation is considered an essential — and, some say, almost magical — part of Buddhist meditation practice.

What Is a Mala?

A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, a mala is far more than a tool — it’s a deeply precious and meaningful spiritual object.
