Mantrathon
Description
MANTRATHON
Monday 6 April | 4:00–6:00 pm
We will celebrate Easter Monday with the return of Mantrathon at OM House.
Mantrathon is a meditative practice of continuous mantra chanting for 108 minutes, facilitated by Nadav, with special guest Edo and accompanied by a devotional pūjā offered by Pandit Shankara.
Sustained repetition of mantra allows the mind to soften, the nervous system to settle, and awareness to naturally expand.
This is not kirtan or a call-and-response gathering.
It is a steady flow of vibrationally aligned sound - a form of deep meditation held in community, supporting heart opening, balance, and restoration.
Through shared chanting, we hold and support one another, allowing a subtle, uplifting, and quietly mystical experience to emerge. This practice offers conscious rest, clarity, and a gentle awakening through repetition of sound.
The musical journey will move through a selection of mantras that will align to the stages of the Vedic pūjā — invocation, purification, offering, surrender, and union.
We will close together with collective ārati and prasāda, grounding the experience in shared ritual and community connection.
BYO preferred cushion or meditation seat - some cushions and blankets will be provided.
Bring a flower to offer to the Puja.
