This course will provide an overview of safe Manual Handling and Ergonomics principles in the office environment. Participants will observe and take part in practical workstation setup activities and will be provided with tools to perform ergonomic assessments in their workplace.

Topics covered in this course include:

- Posture and basic anatomy of the spine.

- Principles of static muscle load and balanced work posture.

- Injury prevention and risk management.

-Dangers of prolonged sitting.

-Early intervention.

Important Information:

This webinar will be split into two 1.5 hour sessions with a short break in between each session, as follows:

Session 1: 9am - 10:30am

Session 2: 11am-12:30pm
